The Art of Insanity

Christine Webb

The Art of Insanity follows Natalie Cordova, a high school student and aspiring artist who has recently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She’s trying to figure out how to live a normal life while also managing her mental health—something she doesn’t want most people to know about.

As she navigates school, friendships, a new therapist, and her love of art, Natalie learns how to speak up for herself and find strength in her identity. This novel is an honest, sometimes humorous, and deeply moving look at what it’s like to live with a mental illness as a teen, and how support and self-acceptance can lead to healing.
